Tatiana Maslany Weighs in on a Possible She-Hulk Cameo in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
While it has become abundantly clear that we will not be seeing a She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 2 if Tatiana Maslany gets her way, Jennifer Walters will return.
As a quick recap, Maslany originated the role of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The series was notable for its lighter town and legal procedural format. It also proved to be divisive among fans, who criticized its visual effects and finale.

Still, some continued to hold out hope that more She-Hulk stories were in the works.
Maslany Publicly Criticized Disney CEO Bob Iger
After the series ended, Maslany found herself in hot water when she blasted Bob Iger during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. After the Disney CEO publicly complained about the timing of the labor unrest, Maslany went on the offensive.

“I think he’s completely out of touch,” she said. “He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money.”
Later, Maslany would walk back those statements.

“In those moments, you’re so heated up,” Maslany told The Independent. “It’s hard to articulate yourself in a way that you want when you’re on the picket line with everybody.”
She-Hulk’s Budget Sealed Its Fate
While it is very unlikely that we ever see Season 2 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Maslany’s dig at Bob Iger will not be the culprit. Instead, the steaming series’s massive budget and middling ratings likely sealed Jennifer Walter’s fate.

“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget,” Maslany joked last year when asked if another season was in development. “And Disney was like, ‘No thanks.’”
Will Jennifer Walters Appear in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’?
Ahead of the release of Daredevil: Born Again, Maslany was asked if she would be open to playing Jennifer Walters in the series. For those who don’t remember, Cox portrayed Matt Murdock in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where he entered into a relationship with Walters.

For her part, Maslany had nothing but praise for Cox.
“Would I be born again? I mean, absolutely, he was so great. He was so fun, like a really fun person to play with,” she explained to Screen Rant.
“What he did so well was take a character that exists in a different tone and totally adapt him for this new tone, while still maintaining the integrity of the character, which is actually very funny, then. To see him collide with this sort of goofier world.”

After it was suggested that she would be able to show a serious side of She-Hulk in Born Again, the actress readily agreed.
“I have a serious, well, I have a lot of serious bones in my body,” she noted.
Maslany’s Comments Are Interesting
While it is unlikely that we will see She-Hulk appear in Daredevil: Born Again, it is interesting to hear that Maslany would be open to playing the character again.

With the Marvel multiverse set to come together for the events of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, perhaps we have not seen the last of Jennifer Walters after all.
