Benedict Cumberbach Basically Confirms He Will Appear in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
The internet’s attention was fixated on Marvel’s YouTube channel last March as the studio slowly but surely revealed the cast of Avengers: Doomsday over the course of a five-and-a-half-hour livestream.
When the dust settled, dozens of names had been revealed, including the Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, Fox X-Men, and numerous Avengers. Still, many fans quickly pointed out that some of Marvel’s most prominent stars were missing.

Among the names that Marvel did not announce for Avengers: Doomsday were established heroes Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Jeremey Renner (Hawkeye), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), and Paul Bettany (Vision).
Is Another Announcement Coming?
The prevailing notion has been that a second Doomsday announcement would be forthcoming, confirming the return of more characters. So far, however, nothing has transpired.

With that being said, one Marvel star has essentially confirmed that he will return for Doomsday.
Here is the latest.

“I don’t know, maybe they didn’t have enough chairs,” he quipped.
When asked if his inclusion in Doomsday was being kept a secret by Kevin Feige, Cumberbatch quickly explained, “That’s exactly it! Call him!”

While Cumberbatch’s latest statements will surely fuel the fire that another Doomsday cast announcement is coming, it is important to note that nothing has been announced.

Nevertheless, it would be hard to imagine a Marvel multiversal adventure without Doctor Strange being involved.
