MarvelBlog News for November 16th, 2025
In this week’s MarvelBlog News, Elizabeth Olsen continues to confuse.
Also, the Avengers: Doomsday marketing machine heats up.

We’ll discuss these two stories and more in the latest update.
I Guess That’s a No?

Elizabeth Olsen has gradually evolved into the least predictable Avenger.
The actress is the younger sister of the Olsen Twins, which has shaped her worldview.

Her older twin sisters were worth hundreds of millions of dollars before they even turned 18.
So, even though she’s just three years younger than them, they were already celebrities by the time she was out of diapers.

Olsen has never known a time when she wasn’t in the spotlight, which makes her an agent of chaos.
Olsen doesn’t possess the typical filter one would expect from a Marvel star.

On the contrary, she seems to say whatever she’s thinking, damn the consequences.
There’s no maliciousness to her actions. She’s just direct to the point of fault.

Every other Marvel actor lives in fear of getting fired from the gig if they say too much.
Since Olsen’s family was comically wealthy her entire life, she perceives the world differently.

Her inscrutable behavior works as a ticking time bomb for Marvel media outlets.
Reporters simply have no idea what to do with her, and we were reminded of this fact in early November.

The actress once again reiterated that she’s not in Avengers: Doomsday.
Nobody believes her because, well, she kinda went mad in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

At the moment, arguably the most powerful mutant in the world is going through some stuff.
That’s not the kind of thing Marvel is likely to leave unresolved for long, recent production chaos notwithstanding.

So, the supposition is that Olsen will return as Wanda Maximoff in one of two projects.
Avengers: Doomsday is the obvious one, but Vision Quest would make sense, too.

And that’s why things have gotten really confusing this month.
She Said What?

Olsen gave an interview to Inverse Magazine, which you can watch here.
The actress states that she knew NOTHING about Vision Quest until quite recently.

Olsen apparently hung out with her buddy, Paul Bettany, who stars as Vision.
According to her, he shared the details of the story, which adds a layer of complexity here.

If Olsen is to be believed, she didn’t know anything about Vision Quest until then.
Does that statement strain the bonds of credulity? Absolutely.

Still, the actress has proven demonstrably honest on several other occasions.
When she has said she wasn’t in something, she was right each time.

So, that creates a scenario where Olsen is in neither Avengers: Doomsday nor Vision Quest.
The latter statement would stun me, as all the other rumors suggest a family reunion.

The actors cast to play Billy and Tommy, Wanda and Vision’s unreal twins, are doing photo ops together.
They’re happily relaying the fact that they appear together in Vision Quest.

Thus, a father and his semi-imaginary children appear on the show. It’d be weird if the mother didn’t, too.
Am I 100 percent confident that Wanda will be on the show? Umm, not now?

The worst part is that we’re going to get a year of this “will she/won’t she?” until Avengers: Doomsday and Vision Quest come out.

The other strange story floating around may not even be one.
You’ll need to visit TikTok to follow along with this one, as the Russo Brothers are being playful.

The directors of Avengers: Doomsday have their own production company, AGBO Films.
This business has a TikTok account, and it’s been dropping hints about the new movie.

Some of the videos appear to show costumes of the various characters in the film.
If these sorts of teasers interest you, follow them on TikTok. I’ll be honest that the slow drip of news is starting to bug me.

Speaking of which, the hot new rumor about Avengers: Doomsday involves Doctor Doom himself.
Well, I guess I should also say herself, as we’ll allegedly get multiple versions of Doom.

Some of them are female, and I’m confident that all of them are evil. Doom’s kinda typecast.
There are several different stories coalescing around the main plot of Avengers: Doomsday.

Dot Esports
All of them lead to the same conclusion: Doom hates Steve Rogers and seeks revenge.
Why he had to kidnap the Fantastic Baby, Franklin Richards, to achieve that goal is beyond me.

Finally, just because it’s juicy, I’ll drop one more rumor for you, one that makes perfect sense.
Apparently, work has begun on Dr. Strange 3. If true, that could tie together a lot of what I said today.
