In the lead-up to the release of Avengers: Doomsday, fans have overanalyzed every piece of information they can find, hoping to decipher what Marvel has in store.
Specifically, speculation has continued to run rampant online about which heroes will team up for the next multiversal adventure.
In March 2025, Marvel Studios gradually revealed the film’s cast during a livestream event. It was confirmed that several familiar faces, including Ant-Man, Black Panther, Thor, Loki, Shang-Chi, Namor, Sam Wilson, the New Avengers, the Fox X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, would all return.

Subsequently, we also learned that Chris Evans’s Steve Rogers will be back.
More Heroes Will Surely Suit Up

Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that the eggs reference a variety of Marvel heroes.
Most of the eggs correspond to characters already confirmed to appear in Doomsday, including members of the New Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Namor, Captain America, Loki, Thor, Shang-Chi, and Ant-Man.

Interestingly, however, two of the eggs appear to reference Doctor Strange and Spider-Man.
As of now, neither Benedict Cumberbatch nor Tom Holland has been officially confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
