The New Mutants Tickets On Sale 8/18!
Disney tells theaters when to sell start selling tickets for The New Mutants
As we continue to work around social distancing restrictions in our day to day lives, the movie industry is evolving due to shifting release dates or release strategies. One blockbuster we’ve been waiting a long time for is The New Mutants. Tickets may be going on sale as soon as August 18th!
The spin-off of the X-Men was originally set to hit theaters in 2018. Most recently, TNM Twitter account posted that the theatrical release would be August 28th.

Based on reports from one exhibitor, Disney sent a lengthy email this week laying out theatrical plans, including ticket sales starting the morning of August 18th for TNM.
“It’s for sure opening August 28th!” one exhibitor wrote to Variety.
One caveat…
But, just like everything else, things could change due to Covid. Disney opted to change up the release plans for other films like Mulan and Black Widow. Mulan will premier on Disney+ on September 4th at an additional cost to viewers. Not everyone was a fan of that move…

Covid really hit the movie entertainment industry hard. They’re pivoting and trying new things. We’ll see how this goes, but we do know The New Mutants probably won’t release on Disney+ anytime soon.
