Contest of Champions Porks It Up with John Mulaney
The Spider-Verse voice actor is returning to the role of Spider-Ham! Peter Porker has decided to return to Super Hero-ing because he so good at cleaning up messes. In a new video featuring the voice acting talents of comedian John Mulaney, Spider-Ham returns, announcing his appearance in the Marvel Contest of Champions cell phone game!
The video – which is titled “Back on the Air” – features Peter Porker talking about the many challenges of Super Hero-ing (and naturally, making more than a few jokes about hot dogs and pulled pork). Peter Porker is familiar to fans thanks to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), the animated movie that brought several universes worth of Spider-Man together for one web-slinging adventure.
John Mulaney Became Spider-Ham
Mulaney who also voiced the character in Spider-Verse is excited for his return to the role.
I am Peter Porker. I was bitten by a radioactive pig ok? I became Spider-Ham! Stay with me. In this universe, I star in my own featured @MarvelChampions Motion Comic 🤩 #sponsored #MarvelContestofChampions #Marvel https://t.co/rMJAl9oZIb

Spider-Ham’s Back on Air, Folks!
In “Back on the Air,” we see Peter Poker facing off against various supervillains, including Venom, Doctor Octopus – Otto Edition, and the MCU’s version of the Vulture.
But then, Porker’s attention is seized by a commercial from MOJOWORLD incorporated! According to the definitely-not sinister-sounding advert, the dimension-hopping Marvel supervillain Mojo is looking for candidates that will benefit from his influence so they can achieve their dreams. I’m sure there’s no catch – look at Mojo! Does he look evil to you?
Marvel released the video to announce the appearance of Spider-Ham in Marvel’s Contest of Champions, a free-to-download cell phone game for Android and iOS.
More Peter Porker – Caught in a Ham
If you want another helping of Spider-Ham (aside from his appearance in Into the Spider-Verse, which you can currently stream on Netflix), consider the last cartoon he appeared in, “Spider-Ham: Caught in a Ham,” in which he faced off against Captain Craw-daddy, released by Marvel HQ on YouTube in September 2019. And don’t worry – like everything associated with Peter Porker, this cartoon also has a cart full of hot dog jokes.
