Big Hero 6 is Coming to the MCU!
Earlier today, disInsider learned that Big Hero 6 is coming to the MCU… in LIVE ACTION! Big Hero 6 is based on a comic bearing the same name written by Scott Lobdell and artist Gus Vasquez.
Possible projects that characters might be show up in include Doctor Strange, Secrete Invasion, and Agents of Atlas. We’ll likely see Baymax and Hiro, but no specific characters have been confirmed.
We’re also not sure if BH6 voice actors will reprise their original roles in live action films. When Big Hero 6 premiered in theatres, it made more than $6.6 million worldwide and scored a 89% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. To say it’s an awesome movie is a total duh.
The 2017 show of the same name aired on DisneyXD and had their series finale on Monday February 15, 2021. That series picked up where the movie left off and Disney recently announced another series launching on Disney+ called Baymax, that also follows events of the 2014 feature film.
You can watch Big Hero 6: The Series on Disney+ now. The original feature film and series cast include Ryan Potter as Hiro, Scott Adsit as Baymax, Jamie Chung as Go Go, and Genesis Rodriguez as Honey Lemon.
