Wicked WandaVision Merchandise Coming
Marvel is releasing ALL the magical WandaVision merchandise now that each of the nine episodes have been released on Disney+.
A Brief History of Wicked WandaVision Merchandise
WandaVision‘s final episode, “The Series Finale,” had the reveal of the decade: Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) finally claimed her magical moniker, the Scarlet Witch, in the on-screen Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Prior to WandaVision, the magical moniker was never used on-screen in the MCU, maybe because the name was tied up in the battle for film and distribution rights to Magneto’s mutant children; however, the Scarlet Witch moniker has been used on all the MCU-branded toys dating back to 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (historically, the courts have upheld Marvel Entertainment’s licensing agreements as separate from a character’s use in the rest of the on-screen franchise).
It wasn’t until Marvel Studios made the announcement that WandaVision was coming to Disney+ that official merchandise started to refer to her as “Wanda,” not the Scarlet Witch. Hmm… maybe that should have been a clue to all of us that we would see the THE SCARLET WITCH by the end of the series. And paraphrasing Vision (Paul Bettany), we should all expect to see Wanda again very soon – in this week’s awesome merchandise drop!
Scarlet Witch Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure
The latest WandaVision Pop! vinyl figure from Funko is of the Scarlet Witch – for the first time since the series was announced – in her astral form, reading the Darkhold and conjuring red magic.
The Scarlet Witch Pop! can be purchased on Amazon.com for $10.99 now, but it won’t arrive at your front door until August 2021!
Funko Soda Figure! Scarlet Witch (Chance of Chase)
Funko has also revealed another exciting Scarlet Witch-themed product, the Scarlet Witch Funko Vinyl Soda, included with each soda can is a vinyl figure and a collectible disc. Although this item isn’t actually drinkable, as it doesn’t contain a single drop of soda, if you invite the Scarlet Witch over for a drink, she can probably conjure up some of that Sokovian Iced Tea to help you get through that unboxing video.
The delectable Scarlet Witch soda can be pre-ordered at Chalice Collectibles for $14; however, there’s a limit of two soda cans per customer.
Hot Toys Scarlet Witch & Vision Cosbaby Bobble-Head
