Decoding the Poster Message
The art in the poster for the third episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is by Bella Grace, who is a UK-based graphic designer with plenty of experience with movie posters, ensuring the poster has the cinematic gravitas that’s appropriate for the action-packed Disney+ streaming thriller series.
In addition to looking amazingly cinematic, the release of the poster gives us some tantalizing hints of what might be in store for us in the third episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, especially considering what we’ve learned in the show’s second episode.
All six of the individual episode posters in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series are being brought to you by Poster Posse, a design studio in Mission Viejo, California.
Marvelous MCU Posters!
This isn’t the first time that a Marvel Cinematic Universe story on the small screen has received posters for individual episodes, either! Back in 2014, the final episodes of the first season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has a series of posters that teased at the incredible revelations that took place in those final episodes.
Here at Marvel Blog, we love the idea of having individual posters for each episode of a MCU series (WandaVision had some exceptional posters as well, especially the one by Matt Ferguson). For one thing, it reminds of us the amazing covers that adorn individual issues of our favorite Marvel Comics! And for another, it gives hard working artists who are integral to the formation of the MCU the chance for more paid work and recognition. A win, win situation for all!
