Preview REPTIL #1, Arriving May 26th!

Here’s one of the many great things about the Marvel Comics universe, Marvel Blog True Believers: there is always another new hero to meet! For some, that might mean Reptil, also known as Humberto Lopez!

Reptil #1 at your Local Comic Shop (LCS)

Reptil #1 will be arriving at your local comic shop on May 26th, 2021. It will be written by Terry Bas, feature art by Enid Balâm, inks by Victor Olazaba, colors by Carlos Lopez, and the work of an as-of-yet unannounced letterer.

Right now, you can head over to the official Marvel website and check out the first few pages of this exciting upcoming issue! While (as hinted above) there are no dialogue bubbles to read yet, the unhindered energy of Reptil #1 is already apparent!

However, while you may not have heard of Reptil before now, he has actually been a character in the Marvel Comics universe for over a decade! In order to be as prepared as possible when Reptil #1 arrives later in May, there is another course of action you could consider…

Avengers: The Initiative on Marvel Unlimited

Reptil made his first appearance in Avengers: The Initiative Featuring Reptil (2009) #1 by Christos Gage, Humberto Ramos, Steve Uy, Edgar Delgado, and Joe Caramagna, an issue that you can read right now on the Marvel Unlimited App!

The story, which is set between Avengers: The Initiative #19 and Avengers: The Initiative #20, introduces Reptil for the first time. Set in the wake of the events that kicked off the original Marvel Comics Civil War event, this comic also features plenty of dinosaurs, so you know it has to be good!
