SPIDER-MAN 3 Trailer Smashes ENDGAME Records
After it was released on YouTube on the evening of Monday, August 23rd, 2021, the teaser trailer for Spider-Man 3: No Way Home blew away previous records during its first twenty-four hours, garnering a mind-boggling three fifty five hundred million views!
A Lot of Views
In an article on Deadline, it was reported that this destroys the previous record, which was held by Avengers: Endgame. When that trailer was released, it reached 289,000,000 views in the first twenty-four hours.
By contrast, the 355,500,000 views garnered by the No Way Home trailer exceeds the record set by Endgame by nearly 100,000,000.
And it isn’t just the Avengers movies that were shown-up by the No Way Home trailer: the previous Spider-Man trailers couldn’t complete, either!
The last Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home, received 135,000,000 views in the first twenty-four hours… so No Way Home got roughly three times as many views in its first day!
Not the Final Trailer
While clips of a Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer were leaked onto the internet a few hours in advance of the official trailer’s release, it does not seem as though this caused any negative effect on the number of views the official teaser received on YouTube.
Furthermore, you should consider this, Marvel Blog True Believers: this isn’t even the final Spider-Man trailer, and it is more than likely we’ll see more of the supporting cast in subsequent teasers… and considering the supporting cast for Now Way Home, that’s a pretty exciting proposition!
