Spider-Man: No Way Home Teaser Trailer Released!
After a supposed leak over the weekend, the official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally been released!
You may view the trailer below and read on for MarvelBlog’s commentary!
The Multiverse Has Opened!
This new trailer is everything fans have been clamoring for! Most notably, it very clearly introduces the Multiverse to the MCU.
While rumors of the appearance of previous Peter Parkers are not confirmed, the new trailer certainly amplifies the possibility. It is now very conceivable that Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield will appear as variants of Spider-Man from different timelines.
Does this mean other actors who have played Spider-Man villains will definitely appear? We know Jamie Foxx will reprise his role as Electro, but perhaps there will be additional surprises!
Enter Dr. Strange
Excitement has clearly gotten the best of me! Let’s back up a bit…
The trailer starts out with a distraught Peter Parker. His cover has been blown and the world now knows he is Spider-Man. Not only that, he has also been accused of murdering Mysterio.
What’s a young hero to do? Pay a visit to the Sorcerer Supreme, of course!
Dr. Strange offers to cast a spell to once again, hide Peter’s identity. However, Peter questions whether he wants to erase his shared history with loved ones who know about his secret identity. This uncertainty distracts Dr. Strange from his spell and a crack in the Multiverse seemingly opens.
We suspect this is just a glimpse of what’s to come. This crack in the Multiverse gives way to several character appearances, as well as twisted plot lines.
One thing is certain – this Marvel fan can’t wait to see what’s in store!
We will keep you updated on all future trailer releases as we begin to put together the pieces of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
