Real-Life Meteorologist Ginger Zee in Spidey and His Amazing Friends!
In a Tweet sent on Friday, August 27th, 2021, the official Marvel Twitter account released a special Spidey and His Amazing Friends clip and this one has an especially meta angle thanks to Ginger Zee, a real-life Chief Meteorologist for Good Morning America!
.@GMA Chief Meteorologist @Ginger_Zee and her real-life sons, Adrian and Miles, swing into a brand-new digital short based on Marvel’s #SpideyandhisAmazingFriends on @DisneyJunior! Watch the full short here: https://t.co/C2IK1aIJgS pic.twitter.com/7RBWHYfq1M

And that’s not all the meta madness, Marvel Blog True Believers: co-starring in the clip are Ginger’s real-life children, Adrian and Miles!
“Gobby’s Green Clouds Attack”
The clip is called “Gobby’s Green Clouds Attack,” and you can watch it right now, either in the embedded YouTube video below this paragraph or over on YouTube itself.
As you’ll see, Ginger brings all of her expertise and experience as Chief Meteorologist to this performance, which sees an animated version of herself facing off (and scientifically analyzing) against some of the strangest weather ever to arrive in New York City… except this time the cause is more of a who than a what!
So proud of my boys!!! Thanks team Spidey❤️ https://t.co/5ynyVBgUwM

It isn’t just Spidey’s friends Ginger, Adrian, and Miles who appear in the clip, however: you’ll also see Kamala Khan, A.K.A. the mighty Ms. Marvel!
Spidey and His Amazing Friends
As the most devoted Marvel Blog True Believers are already aware, Spidey and His Amazing Friends is the spectacular new animated show on Disney Channel and Disney Junior, and the first Marvel show geared towards preschoolers (but everyone can enjoy the soundtrack, from Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump).
I reviewed the first two episodes for our sister site, Mickey Blog!
If you don’t have access to Disney Junior or Disney Channel, then you can download the episodes through the DisneyNow app, or you can wait until the first season arrives on Disney+.
The first season will be arriving on Disney+ soon, but in the meantime, you can watch a series of short episodes on Disney+ now!
