Boseman Remembered
In the time since Boseman’s passing, many have honored the memory of the actor who played T’Challa, King of Wakanda and the Black Panther, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In April 2021, Boseman’s widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, appeared at the 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in order to accept the award on her late husband’s behalf.
On August 21st, 2021, Simone performed the song “I’ll Be Seeing You” during the Stand-Up to Cancer telethon.
And on the anniversary of his death, Black Panther co-star Lupita Nyong’o took to social media to remember the actor’s laughter.
Plus, less than a month ago, Boseman’s final appearance in the MCU was released: voicing T’Challa in the second episode of What If…? on Disney+, “What if… T’Challa Had Become a Star-Lord.”
