What If…? Poster Teases MORE Ultron
In a Tweet sent on Monday, September 27th, 2021, the official Marvel Twitter account released a poster advertising this week’s brand-new episode of the ongoing animated Marvel Cinematic Universe anthology series on Disney+, What If…?

The poster features what we now know is an incarnation of Ultron, the villainous A.I. first introduced to the MCU in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the 2015 sequel to the first Avengers movie, in which he played by James Spader.
If you aren’t up to date on What If…? and you want to avoid spoilers, now would be a great time to choose a different timeline and leave this article, Marvel Blog True Believers!
What If… Ultron?
This poster is especially intriguing because this version of Ultron is actually familiar to us already!
He looks identical to the character who sliced his way into the final moments of last week’s What If…? episode, “What If… Thor Had Been An Only Child?”

Why is this important?
Up until now, each individual episode of the anthology series has been a standalone, without any crossover or continuation between episodes. However, if we are indeed seeing more of this version of Ultron, perhaps we will also see the return of Party Thor!

And if that’s the case, who knows what other What If…? characters might make another appearance. T’Star-Lord from episode two? Stephen Strange, the Sorcerer Savage from episode four? The sky’s the limit!
