Countdown: Will the Hawkeye Cast Sing?
With only hours between us and the release of the first two episodes of Hawkeye for streaming on Disney+ on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021, our anticipation for the series is reaching a fever pitch here at Marvel Blog! To help pass the few remaining days until we can finally see the show, we’ve been counting down and speculating about what the show might bring. Today, we consider the possibility that we’ll get to see the Hawkeye cast sing!
A Musical Series
We already know that we’ll be seeing the Rogers Broadway Musical brought to life in Hawkeye.

Best of all, the music we’ll hear from this show was written by real-life Broadway legends Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Who else can’t wait to sing along, Marvel Blog True Believers?

But it is possible we’ll hear singing from the main Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes we’ll see in this show, as well?
Singing Credentials
First of all, Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton (A.K.A. Hawkeye), has some singing chops of his own. He recently released an EP, “Live for Now,” in which he sings. Hmm… Interesting skill to have on his resume, don’t you think, Marvel Blog True Believers? Check out this music video for “Main Attraction” and tell me this isn’t headline act material:
And you know who else can sing? Hailee Steinfeld, who plays Kate Bishop (A.K.A. Hawkeye). Just check out this video of the star appearing on The Voice in 2018 (also, Bumblebee from Transformers is there… just roll with it):
Also, as mentioned by the video, Steinfeld is a multi-platinum artist. You see why this Hawkeye musical is a good idea, right, Marvel Blog True Believers?
