Let’s take a look and see what they settled on, shall we, Marvel Blog True Believers?
The first style spotlighted for this special Loki Day feature makes sense: it’s the “Classic Loki” look, which is very similar to the outfit worn by Richard E. Grant during his scene-stealing performance in the penultimate episode of the first season of Loki on Disney+.
Next up is Lady Loki, as seen in the 2008 Marvel Comics crossover event, Secret Invasion. Could we see a similar Loki Variant in the upcoming Secret Invasion series on Disney+? Anything’s possible (especially when the Skrulls are involved)!
The next look on the Loki Day list is Loki’s look from the 2010 Siege crossover. While it’s included in the top five looks, the narrator makes fun of Loki’s pants, which is sort of understandable.
Now comes Vote Loki, from the 2016 miniseries Vote Loki.
Note: this Loki Variant is not to be confused with President Loki, who is a distinct character from a proposed miniseries by Tom King that was never made (on account of King becoming an excluisve writer for the Distinguished Competition after he finished writing the 2018 Vision run.
Finally, Loki’s modern look (2014 + 2019) takes the final spot on this Loki Day list!
Happy Loki Day!
What do you think of this short video clip featuring many of Loki’s looks? How are you celebrating Loki Day? Which looks from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of Loki do you think belong on a top five list of his looks, and is the “TVA Variant” one of them?
