Death of Doctor Strange Begins on Marvel Unlimited
In an article posted to the official Marvel website on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, the arrival of the first issue of The Death of Doctor Strange was heralded! The most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers may have seen some of our coverage of this ongoing event, but now the first issue has arrived to be read on Marvel Unlimited.

Here’s a quick rundown of how new releases work on the Marvel Unlimited app: first, you need a subscription, which gives you instant access to more than 29,000 Marvel Comics! Trust us, Marvel Blog True Believers, this app is a dream for any Marvel Comics lover.

When a fresh issue of Marvel Comics is first released, it is available to read in physical form: you have to swing by your Local Comic Shop (LCS) and pick it up! Alternatively, you can pay full cover price to purchase a digital version of the issue, either directly from Marvel or through a service like Comixology.

However, once the issue has been out for three months, it is added to Marvel Unlimited, where anyone who has a subscription can read it without any additional charge. For example, you may remember when the first issue of Heroes Reborn, a Marvel Comics crossover event that took place earlier in 2021, was made available to read on the app!
