Online Event
The online event will be held over Zoom on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at 7:00 PM EST (4:00 PM PST).
As the most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers will already be aware, Reptil is the story of Humberto Lopez, a teenager with the ability to transform parts of his body into any dinosaur he can think of! The 2021 run of Reptil was outstanding for fleshing out the supporting cast and giving Humberto and his cousins Jules and Eva the chance to explore real-world Southern California locations (plus, they got to eat tacos from an awesome taco man).
In addition to Blas discussing Reptil, the event will also feature Julio Anta discussing the graphic novel Home, which he co-created with Anna Wieszczyk, Bryan Valenza, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou and which was published by Image Comics in November 2021. The story follows a young boy is separated from his mother while crossing the United States border, an issue he must deal with while also grappling with emerging superhuman abilities.
