Marvel Comics Digital Redemption Updates (Some More)
When you buy a physical copy of a Marvel Comic issue, you get a free digital copy that you can redeem for a limited time… but now the method of Marvel Comics digital redemption has been updated (again)! Here are all the details, Marvel Blog True Believers.
Marvel Comics Digital Redemption
For many years now, each issue published by Marvel Comics has included a digital copy of the comic as well. This has been a great perk for collectors who might want to be sure they’re able to keep up with the current goings-on in the 616 will simultaneously ensuring their individual comics remain in pristine condition.
A few weeks ago, Marvel Blog reported on an update to the process for Marvel Comics digital redemption. This process involved requesting a digital copy and submitting a photo of the cover of the issue you bought in order to demonstrate that you had purchased an issue that came with a digital code. This process involved an extra step, and the deadline window for redeeming the digital issue was much shorter than it had been under the previous program
But now, it looks as though the previous program for Marvel Comics digital redemption has returned. This means that instead of going online and submitting a photo to Marvel, you simply peel off a sticker included on a page within the comic, revealing the redemption code beneath.
In addition to making it so you don’t have to wait a few hours (or even days, if you had requested the code on the weekend) for your digital copy of the comic, the return of this method has also brought the return of a longer window of time before the deadline for redemption.
Stay Tuned for More Updates
Marvel Blog will be keeping abreast of any further developments when it comes to Marvel Comics digital redemption: it’s one of our favorite features of weekly Marvel Comics and we hope the publisher never gets rid of the included digital copy!
