Does Moon Knight Include a Fantastic Four Easter Egg?
A long-awaited project for the MCU may point fans to the future of the universe as we know it; which leads to the question many have been pondering, does Moon Knight include a Fantastic Four easter egg?
One of the most interesting projects to date for the MCU, Moon Knight is quite unlike anything the vast universe has handled to his point.
Featuring the tremendous cast headlined by acting veterans Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, the brutal and mature nature of the series makes it one of the Studio’s most intriguing titles for their 2022 Phase Four schedule.
With Isaac’s portraying the distraught Marc Spector- a former mercenary who suffers from dissociative identity disorder- the series first trailer already gave MCU fans a look at the character’s cockney alters ego, Steven Grant.
As with every Marvel endeavor, however, part of the fun of an upcoming project is theorizing just how it connects to other MCU installments; and some eagle-eyed fans may have spotted Moon Knights connection.
With many fans pointing a very iconic name seemingly hidden in plain sight, we ask the question, does Moon Knight include a Fantastic Four easter egg?
The potential easter egg occurs in a very quick scene in which Grant seemingly awakes to be driving a car with a gun in his hand.
Behind his head is a stack of boxes that seem to be labeled with the iconic Von Doom name; which would open the door to an incredible amount of possibilities.
Victor Von Doom is known to comic book fans as one of Marvel’s most iconic villains, Dr. Doom, who is known as the premiere antagonist of the Fantastic Four.
So, is the easter egg a reference to the iconic Marvel character? Or perhaps a sign of his long-awaited presence in the MCU?
The answer is really unknowable, with Fantastic Four slated to be the final project in Marvel’s Phase Four, it is entirely plausible for the character to be making his first appearances in the background of current projects.
Either way, the potential arrival of the villain is yet another reason why every Marvel fan should be watching Moon Knight when it arrives this March.
