Who is That Mysterious Glowing Character in the ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Trailer?
With so many theories as to just who can appear in the latest MCU film, we address that mysterious glowing character in the latest Doctor Strange 2 trailer, and just who it could be.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is poised to be one of the most important films of Marvel’s Phase Four, as it could reimagine the very MCU as we know it.

With everything from the Illuminati, to Professor X, and even the hidden Captain Carter easter egg, there is no shortage of questions derived from the latest Super Bowl Sunday trailer for the highly anticipated sequel.
One of the most curious reveals of the trailer came by way of the mysterious glowing character set to appear in Doctor Strange 2.

Who are they? and most importantly, are they someone that we’ve already seen in the MCU before?
Their aren’t any clear answers, but plenty of theories; with one theory coming from the mouth of a man who has had a hand in crafting the source material.

Comic book writer Tom Taylor took to Twitter to discuss the mysterious glowing character, who they could be, but most importantly, evidence that could possibly reveal and confirm one of the longest-running rumors of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
In the Tweet, Taylor indicated that the glowing orange and red exterior with blue accents is akin to his creation; with Superior Iron Man being known by his blue and silver color scheme, that would transform to a reddish color when the character was angry.

Superior Iron Man is a very interesting theory, as many fans initially assumed the character was a version of Captain Marvel; given the similarities in designs.
If this mysterious glowing character does, in fact, end up being Superior Iron Man, then the MCU has just introduced one of its most interesting villains into the fold; with a twisted take on the Tony Stark character.

Only time will tell, but we can only hope that the dangerous and menacing Superior Iron Man will make his way into the MCU sooner rather than later!
