Michael Keaton Teases the Return of Marvel’s Adrian Toomes
A spectacularly villainous debut in Spider-Man: Homecoming was meant to be just the start for his MCU run, and it appears his reemergence may come sooner than later as Michael Keaton teases the return of Marvel’s Adrian Toomes.
In 2016, Spider-Man came back home to Marvel, and what followed was a truly iconic run on the character; with the development of a younger genius, there was an emphasis on the MCU crafting near iconic villains.
The first great villain or the MCU’s Spider-Man saga was none other than Adrian Toomes, portrayed brilliantly by Michael Keaton, and taking on the identity of The Vulture, the character was well received by fans as one of the best Spider-Man adaptations to date.
With a run in the MCU that was always meant to continue- signified by the post-credit scene in Spider-Man: Homecoming that showed his interaction with Scorpion- it may be coming sooner rather than later as Michale Keaton teases the return of Marvel’s Adrian Toomes.

In an Instagram post, Keaton foreshadowed incoming work as the character in the caption for a picture of what seems to be a Hollywood studio.
Shared with the Caption, “A Little A Toomes Work Today,” one can assume he is set to appear in an upcoming MArvel project; yet, with his rumored reprisal of the role in Sony’s upcoming Morbius, it could very well be late additions to that film
There is a complete unknown as to what the work could be, but a safe guess would assume it has to be something with Sony’s upcoming film; as Marvel doesn’t hold the rights to utilizing Vutlure- or Adrian Toomes- without associating with Sony in some way during the production.
Wtih that being said, we can guess that the character will play a larger role than originally assumed for the upcoming Morbius.
Sony is dedicated to building their very own Spider-Man Universe, and utilizing Keatons Toomes is a better way to continue to establish themselves apart form the MCU.
