Empire Magazine Releases Exclusive Images From ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’
In a recent issue that offered fans a better look into the upcoming production, Empire Magazine also released brand new exclusive images from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
What promises to be one of the most ambitious and creative outings for Marvel Studios is slowly exposed more of what awaits, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is primed to deliver mayhem in the highest order.
The last time MCU fans saw Doctor Strange, he was attempting to help Peter Parker regain his anonymity in Spider-Man: No Way Home; a record-breaking success that introduced the multiversal implications onto the Marvel Universe.
The film made way for the MCU to begin to explore the unthinkable, as alternate realities and mirrored planes of existence became tangible realities for a Marvel Universe that is coming face to face with a fractured multiverse.
All the groundwork that has been laid throughout Marvel’s Phase Four will finally come to fruition with the latest Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and brand new Empire Magazine Exclusive Images giving us a better look at the alternate reality moments that awaits us.
Giving fans a better look at what was previously released in the trailer, fans see Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in what appears to be a prison of some sort; but with a setting that closely resembles what many fans assume is the gathering place of the Illuminati.
It appears as though Doctor Strange and America Chavez are both imprisoned at some point in the film, with the clear cages detaining the two characters prior to Strange’s confrontation with the mysterious figures that seem to form some kind of council.
Fan speculation has long assumed that the council that gathers before Strange, is not only the multiversal Illuminati but also features characters like Master Mordo and the return of Patrick Stewarts’ beloved and iconic Professor X.
It would make sense for both characters to be detained after traveling through multiple Multiverses, something that seems to take place in the trailer and would make sense with America Chavez’s powers of interdimensional travel to alternate realities.
Time will only tell what awaited us this May, but these images show us that something very interesting continues to brew with the upcoming sequel.
