Samuel L. Jackson May have Spoiled When Fans Will See Nick Fury Next
In a recent interview, one of the longest-running Marvel characters may have let slip when he’ll next show up as MCU veteran Samuel L. Jackson spoils when fans will see him next.
There are few Marvel characters as consistent or important to the overall formation and evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe than the man behind the formation of the original Avengers, Nick Fury.
Every film prior to the 2012 Avengers film ended with Jackson’s Fury working to bring together a team of Earth’s mightiest heroes for the Avengers Initiative; a collection of these super-powered individuals who would go on to save the world a fair number of times.
Samuel L. Jackson- a true legend in the film industry- brought his signature charisma and charm to the role, and has had a starring role in a plethora of different Marvel films in their massive interconnected franchise.
The character is slated to be the star of his very own Disney+ series, titled Secret Invasion, which sees the former head of S.H.I.E.L.D has to deal with the Skrull invasion that has been a constant since the in-continuity appearance in the 1990s.
Fans have been more than excited for Jackson to finally have his very own story for Nick Fury to be embraced as the main character, yet, Jackson may have spoiled when Fury is set to appear next; and just a hint, it isn’t Secret Invasion.
In a recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Jackson said he has been filming Fury’s appearances for multiple upcoming Marvel projects.
“When I was in London just now,” the beloved actor stated, “it was [Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania], and [The Marvels] was happening, and we were getting ready to do [Secret Invasion]. So I was like, three Marvel movies on one lot. I was kind of running around from place to place.”
There hasn’t been a confirmation that points to Jackson casting in both Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania or The Marvels, but it is definitely not out of the question that Jackson’s Nick Fury could have a role in both.
