‘Moon Knight’ Review Claims Series is Marvel’s Best Disney+ Project “By a Large Margin”
With the new MCU installment just a day away, the official reviews are flooding in, with one Moon Knight Review claiming the series is Marvel’s best Disney+ Project “By a large margin.”
Excitement for the upcoming Disney+ series has reached a fever pitch, as Marvel fans cant wait to see what the MCU has planned for OScar Isaac’s turn as the eponymous character in the impending Moon Knight.
Following the former mercenary Marc Spector as he struggles to cope with reality due to his dissociative identity disorder that crafts multiple personalities; the title character’s problems only magnify when he is granted the powers of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, to operate as the vigilante Moon Knight.
The series is just a day away, and with such an enigmatic title character, fans are unsure of what to expect out of the series that tackles one of Marvel’s most unique characters to date.
With the reviews currently arriving due to the lifting of the embargo, one Moon Knight review claims that the series is one of Marvel’s best Disney+ projects to date; and “by a large margin,” at that.
The review comes from ComicBook.com writer Adam Barnhardt, who had tremendous things to say about the newest MCU project.
“Moon Knight works; and it works exceptionally well, at that.” Barnhardt states, “I’d even go the length to say the episodes reviewed are pound-for-pound stronger than anything Marvel Studios has released on Disney+ to date. To me, it’s not even close. Moon Knight reigns supreme by a large margin.”
Barnhardt continues by stating that, “the Oscar ISaac vehicle is something Marvel fans have never seen before,” and reiterates that, “Isaac’s just the beginning of a superb cast full of stellar performances. Ethan Hawkes Arthur Harrow is made to be even more complex than Grant”
Overall, Barnhardt gave the series a 5 out of 5 rating, and it will be interesting to see if everyone has the same reaction to it, with the series seemingly banking on the fan’s ability to connect with both HArrow and Spector in a clash of mystical proportions.
