First Episode of ‘Moon Knight’ Now IMDB’s Highest Rated of any MCU Disney+ Series
The newest entry into the Marvel Universe has arrived to a fantastic reception, as the first episode of Moon Knight is now IMDB’s highest rated of any MCU Disney+ series.
There have been some tremendous entries into MArvels’ continued Disney+ productions, but perhaps none have elicited the level of adoration from fans as this week’s Moon Knight.

With every series bringing something unique to the MCU landscape- WandaVision focusing on its altering of reality, Loki bringing in the TVA, etc.- Moon Knight is one of the MCUs most grounded projects since its Netflix collaborated Defenders Universe.
Oscar Isaac was brilliant as Steven Grant, Marc Spector, and Moon Knight; with the characters, affliction becoming one of the most compelling narrative elements of any Marvel series to date.

In Grant’s eponymous character Marvel has perhaps brought to life one of their most interesting and complex characters to date, as well as building such a character on one of its most mature stories thus far.
The series premiere episode arrived at fans this week, and many have praised the unique journey that Marvel has taken fans on, and that has led to the first episode of Moon Knight standing firm as IMDB’shighest rated of any MCU Disney+ series.

It was first reported by ComicBook.com, which quoted a tweet from @MCUReport, which states, “#MoonKnight first episode currently has a rating of 9,1/10 on IMDB which makes it the highest-rated first episode out of all the MCU Disney+ shows released so far.”
Although Moon Knight’s distinction in the popular entertainment sight is well warranted, it does come as a small surprise considering the adoration fans held for the phenomenally developed series like WandaVision, Loki, and Hawkeye.

One thing is absolutely undeniable, what sets Moon Knight apart is its differing focus from the usually Marvel mold, and that very uniqueness creates a story that is confidently unlike anything that the MCU has produced thus far.
