Setting up to bring a close to the multiversal narrative that has been a focal point of the MCU’s phase four, with Doctor Strange coming off the heels of his actions in the record-breaking Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The report states that the latest MCU film, “earned a formidable $36 million in Thursday previews, setting the stage for what could be a massive $175 million-plus debut this weekend.”
It continued by noting that this opening, “ranks as the eighth largest preview performance ever, behind ‘Avengers: Infinity War’s $39 Million.”
The preview box office implications should speak volumes of what the film is slated to achieve in the box office, and the fact that it is still among one of the biggest MCU films of all time should prime it for a fantastic output.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a fantastic Marvel film, with some flaws and an imperfect plot, Raimi and company crafted what is the MCU’s first true horror film with fantastic visual elements and performances.
