Mighty Thor Swings Onto Avenger’s Campus!
Thor: Love and Thunder has finally arrived in theatres! The film has captivated audiences earning over $29 million in preview screenings! Now Mighty Thor is making her way to Avenger’s Campus in Disneyland California!
Avenger’s Campus is one of the highlights of Disneyland California and the campus readily adds more and more of the MCU’s heroes to the roster. After Moon Knight’s debut on Disney+, both Moon Knight and Mr. Knight made their way to Avenger’s Campus! As well as Ms. Marvel when her show debuted. Now Mighty Thor is the next hero to join!

Natalie Portman has reprised her role as Jane Foster for Thor: Love and Thunder, struck with the diagnosis of Stage IV cancer, Jane Foster would seek out help in New Asgard. While not finding a cure, Foster did find the pieces Mjolnir and was granted the powers of Thor after being deemed worthy as was etched on the hammer itself.
As Mighty Thor, she seeks to help Thor in the battle against Gorr. She is set to prove her worthiness alongside Thor, Valkyrie, and her fellow Asgardians, and prove herself deserving of the hammer! What role her cancer will play is left to be seen in the film, and how will Thor and Jane work together after ending such a passionate romance.

Mighty Thor’s appearance at Avengers Campus will be unique in that she will test the worthiness of park-goers! Dr. Jane Foster will be look for recruits to join her in her battle against evil forces and ask citizens to see if they can lift the mighty hammer and prove they are worthy!
As told in Thor’s first feature film, the mighty Mjolnir is etched with the phrase
“Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor”
Enchanted by Odin, the apparent worthiness required by Mjolnir has become something of a running staple within the MCU. The Avengers took turns attempting to lift the hammer in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but it was Steve Rogers who was deemed worthy in Avengers: Endgame when he lifted the hammer and received Thor’s powers.
