Marvel Announces Brand New ‘Deadpool’ Series
He has long been one of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Universe, and he will once again be getting this very own comic book run, as Marvel has announced a brand new Deadpool series.
Throughout the massive pantheon of Marvel heroes that have graced the pages of the publication over the decades of its existence, it is not an understatement to say that not a single one can compare to the outlandish antics of the merc with a mouth, Deadpool.

A hero that often skirts the line between what is right and wrong, Wade Wilson has clearly been established as a fan-favorite character since his inception and has always had a very prominent place in Marvel lore, but that may have even exceeded in recent years.
Thanks to what Fox and Ryan Reynolds were able to accomplish with the character in his first two solo films, Deadpool has become a character that is clearly beloved on a mainstream level and is among the most well-known characters in the comic book industry as a whole.

After a year of not being the centerpiece of his very own title, the Merc with a Mouth is finally back- and much to the delight of fans- as Marvel has announced a brand new Deadpool series.
Marvel announced the return of the character in a press release that confirmed the creative duo of Alyssa Wong and Martin Coccolo would be launching the series that is set for a November arrival date, and that this brand new story will take the hero in a new, but familiar, direction.

The press release states,
“Deadpool’s latest solo exploits will kick off with a bang as a new mercenary group sends Wade on one of his most dangerous missions, an intoxicating villain unleashes a twisted plan on his body with horrifying side effects, and a hot new romance arrives on the scene to drive him crazy!

Deadpool never fails to be one of the most entertaining characters that the comic book medium has to offer, and there is no doubt in our mind that Wong will do him tremendous justice in this upcoming series.
