Alex Ross Unveils Another Incredible ‘Fantastic Four’ Variant Cover
Releasing a different variant every couple of days, Alex Ross has unveiled yet another incredible Fantastic Four variant for the upcoming Ryan North series.
Throughout the history of Marvel comics, there are few characters who have reached the appeal, longevity, and fan adoration that has come to Marvel’s first family.
The Fantastic Four have for so long been a staple of the Marvel universe and have grounded the series in one of the most interesting teams that the Comic book medium has ever seen.
The team was developed and brought to life by maybe the greatest duo that the industry has ever known in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, with the four heroes becoming the premiere title for the Marvel brand for a long time.
And that relevance and popularity may have shifted over the years, but it has never changed, with the team continually getting brand new stories that reimagine their journeys, but stick tightly to the unique family dynamic that made them such a draw in the first place.
Now, Ryan North is set to bring the team to life once again, and one of the industry’s most legendary artists is bringing a line of alternate covers, as Alex Ross has unveiled yet another incredible Fantastic Four variant cover.

With the variants divided into two categories- focusing on the team, and focusing on an individual- this variant cover released for New York Comic-Con features perhaps the most underrated Marvel hero of all time, the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing.
Ben Grimm has long been a character that has been one of the most recognizable for comic book fans due to his very unique appearance but also has so much narrative weight for what he represents in the world of Marvel comics.
Created by Jack Kirby, a lot has been made about Thing still standing as the spirit of Kirby in the modern comic world, as despite the rapid changing of storylines and characters, he has always remained the compelling, endearing, and relentlessly heroic character that debut all of those decades ago.
