Elizabeth Olsen Says She Is Not Returning For ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ or ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’
With the Marvel multiverse set to come together for the events of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, all eyes have been on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
The big question leading up to the next Avengers film has been which heroes will suit up to square off agianst Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
So far, we have gotten confirmation that Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will all return for Doomsday.

On the other hand, Scarlet Johansson has been adamant that her time as Black Widow has come to an end, and Chris Evans has professed that he is “happily retired,” despite reports that he will return in Doomsday.
Now, it looks like we can add another former Avenger to the “no” list.
Elizabeth Olsen Will Not Return
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Elizbeth Olsen confirmed that Scarlet Witch will not appear in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.

Instead of heading to London this summer to reunite with her fellow Avengers, Olsen will be filming a pilot for a new FX series.
“I’m moving on to filming a pilot for FX [called Seven Sisters],” she said.

Due to the character’s immense popularity and Wanda’s previous multiversal adventures, many fans have assumed that Scarlet Witch will return for at least Secret Wars.
Marvel’s Next Move
However, as Wanda apparently died at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there is an easy way to explain her absence in the upcoming Avengers films.
With Olsen seemingly excited to explore opportunities outside of the MCU, perhaps we will not see Wanda again.

Of course, there is always the possibility that this is another Marvel ruse.
For now, we will have to just wait and see.
