We Need to Talk About THAT ‘Ironheart’ Reveal
WARNING: There Are Ironheart Episode Six Spoilers Ahead
Since the release of WandaVision, Marvel fans have been convinced that Mephisto was lurking in the shadows.
Marvel’s version of the devil has long been one of the franchise’s most iconic villains; however, Kevin Feige and his team have held the character back.
Despite the fact that Mephisto would have been a natural fit in WandaVision, Moon Knight, any of the Doctor Strange movies, or Agatha All Along, the supernatural villain has been absent from the MCU.

Mephisto’s ‘Ironheart’ Debut
In the final episode of Ironheart, it is revealed that Parker Robbins/The Hood was given the magical red cape that has been corrupting him by Mephisto, who imbued the accessory with his magic.
In a shocking twist, Riri strikes a deal with the devil to combine her genius with his power.

With Mephisto now officially introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the question is, where will he appear next?
The Villain Will Return
Based on both the gravitas and power of the character, it is likely that Kevin Feige and his team will want to use Mephisto as an overarching villain.
With another Doctor Strange movie and the planned Strange Academy in development, it would be natural for the supernatural devil to reappear.

Additionally, as the Marvel multiverse is set to converge for the events of Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, Mephisto could also appear there.
What About Wanda?
The big question is what the future holds for Wanda Maximoff. In the comics, Wanda and Mephisto are inextricably linked, as the demon helps bring Billy and Tommy into existence.

This also gives the villain a connection to Wicca (obviously) and Agatha.
Should Marvel fully explore Mephisto’s potential, it may need to bring Wanda back.
