Dafne Keen Discusses a Potential Return as X-23
While it sounds like Hugh Jackman will stick around as Wolverine for a while, eventually, Marvel is going to have to find someone else to fill that role.

Will Dafne Keen Replace Hugh Jackman?
As we stand on the precipice of a new era in X-Men history, fans have begun to speculate about who will fill the shoes of the actors who have played the iconic mutants for decades.

When it comes to Hugh Jackman and Wolverine, one name keeps coming up: Dafne Keen.
While it is hard to envision anyone besides Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine, the idea of Keen’s X-23 filling his role in the X-Men would make a lot of sense.

After portraying Laura/X-23 in Logan, Keen reprised her role in Deadpool & Wolverine. A passing of the torch between Jackman and Keen would make a lot of sense.
Keen Weighs In
In a recent interview with ComicBookMovie, Keen was asked about the speculation that she could become a permanent member of the X-Men in the future.
While the actress did not directly address the speculation, she did note that it “means so much to [her]” that fans love X-23.
If Marvel were to come calling, Keen continued, she would be “very happy anytime anyone wants to speak about it.”
The Future Is Unclear
While it remains likely that Marvel will ultimately choose to recast Wolverine with another actor, the idea that X-23 could serve as a bridge between the two eras of X-Men makes a lot of sense.
