WANDAVISION SPOILER ZONE BELOW – RE: For the children
Okay, now that everyone’s been appraised of spoilers, feast your eyes on this: Billy Maximoff, played by Julian Hilliard (The Haunting of Hill House, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels) and Tommy Maximoff, played by Jett Klyne (The X-Files, Writing Kim), dressed in costume as Wiccan and Quicksilver, respectively, playing with Captain America’s iconic shield and Thor’s worth-judging hammer, Mjölnir!

In a video posted on Twitter by @houseofdann, Klyne’s Tommy swings Mjölnir at Captain America’s shield, which is being held by Hilliard’s Billy. This calls to mind the scene in 2012’s The Avengers where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) uses Mjölnir to hit the shield as it is being wielded by Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).
You Don’t Need the Name “Chris”
But as proven by the father of the twins, Vision (Paul Bettany), you don’t have to be an actor named “Chris” to wield Mjölnir. The synthezoid demonstrated this fact in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, when he picked up the hammer himself shortly after he had been created.
I guess the kids take after their dad, after all!
The next episode of WandaVision will be released on Friday, February 19th. And presumably, the next episode will give us more insight into Billy and Tommy (we still haven’t seen that school scene that leaked online), and what the twins for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the meantime, here is another set photo from last week:
However, it’s likely you’ll have to wait for Captain America’s shield in the upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Whereas, Mjölnir won’t be appearing again until the upcoming movie Thor: Love and Thunder, which will see Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) taking on the mantel as the worthy one, and wielding the legendary hammer.
