‘Twas Kathryn Hahn Singing All Along
It was Kathryn Hahn all along!
But who? Haven’t watched WandaVision‘s “Breaking the Fourth Wall” on Disney+ yet? Then, all you need to know is that it was Kathryn Hahn singing ALL ALONG! The article contains spoilers for the seventh episode of WandaVision, so switch-off your computational services screen, and then return to this post after you have seen the episode if you want to remain spoiler free.
It was her all along.
In this week’s episode of WandaVision, fans were treated to a new song written by earworm aficionados Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and performed by Hahn. In the seventh episode, the second magical gal in town gets her own theme song, as it’s revealed that someone else is fighting for the starring role in Westview (see below).

In a recently released interview on Marvel’s website, the songwriting duo talked about the latest earworm to come from the series.
Anderson-Lopez: [Agatha] gets her own theme song that is in, sort of, The Munsters, Addams Family, kind of, witchy, ghoulish feeling.
Lopez: That’s the one that Kristen’s not on. I’m in the group of guys, the backup guys. But Kathryn [Hahn] takes the lead on that one. She was amazing.
Anderson-Lopez: It also has a little bit of an oompa loompa tenor feel to it too. We decided since we could hit any decade with that, we had to kind of take a couple swings at what would Agatha’s music be? But we ultimately decided the most fun is to just go right in with all of the monster, witch music we’ve seen before.
Lopez: Kathryn is a musical theater star. Kristen’s sister also works with her on Central Park, where she’s a main singing character. And we know, because of that, how amazing her voice is.
Anderson-Lopez: And she’s such a great sport…Because she was just game [for anything], and she was like, [imitates witch] ha, ha, ha.
What? It was Kathryn Hahn singing all along! So cool! Excitingly, the song has another big reveal for witch-y fans everywhere – Agnes was Agatha Harkness all along!
Kathryn Hahn All Along
Hahn teased her MCU musical debut in 2019 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when she serenaded the audience with her karaoke version of Lizzo‘s “Truth Hurts.”
She also performed Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child O’Mine” in the 2008 movie Step Brothers.
Finally, if you need to listen to more Hahn, then check out her work on Central Park from 20th Century Studios and Apple TV+, which as Lopez and Anderson-Lopez pointed out includes a ton of music. Here is a little taste from the animated show, featuring the singing talents of Hahn.
