LOKI 703: Meet Wally, AKA ALLIGATOR LOKI
Welcome back to Loki Academy, Marvel Blog Untrue Believers! Today, we have a very special report, as we’re going to be investigating the model for Alligator Loki: Wally the Emotional Support Alligator! You can learn all about Wally, a real-life four year old alligator, in this video, featuring Wally’s Federally licensed counterpart, Joie Henney:
Wally the Alligator
Wally is five feet long and weighs sixty pounds. He loves to be picked up, give kisses, and get hugs (just like Classic Loki said, he’s very sensitive).

According to a Tweet from Eric Martin, one of the writers on Loki, Wally was the real-world model for Alligator Loki (although Martin notes that Alligator Loki himself was wholly the product of head writer Michael Waldron’s mind).

On-set, Alligator Loki was frequently portrayed by a stuffed blue rag-doll style alligator (you can learn more about this in Assembled: The Making of Loki, which also includes a shout-out to Wally).

Wally is a ham for the spotlight, as you can see for yourself in this photo of him enjoying a visit to a roller skating camp in York City in July 2021. He is enjoying the extra attention that comes with being the model for Alligator Loki.

Even in August 2021, Wally continues to enjoy his newfound celebrity, as a post to Reddit confirms that he has been appearing at local fairs and soaking up attention at local street fairs.
