Will Zazie Beetz Return as Domino in Deadpool 3?
In an interview with Collider about Invincible, the new Amazon series based on the Image Comics series, Zazie Beetz said that although no concrete steps have been taken so far, she would be amenable to reprising the role of Domino in a future Deadpool (or standalone) movie.

Beetz first played the role in Deadpool 2 (2018) opposite Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson. In that movie, we got to see her power set on full display in a sequence that saw the luck-manipulating mercenary use her powers to survive a deeply misguided X-Force team mission helmed by Deadpool himself.

Currently, a third Deadpool movie is in production, with the (maybe) R-rated script being penned by the Molyneux Sisters, whose experience includes Bob’s Burgers. Plus, Reynolds is set to return as the Merc with a Mouth – get that @#!% chimichanga with avocado, folks, and buckle up!
Falling Like Dominoes
Domino has an interesting publication history. Her first “appearance” wasn’t actually her at all, it was the character Copycat, a shapeshifter who had assumed her role and continued to do so for several issues afterwards, beginning in New Mutants #98 (1991) by Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza, Joe Rosen, and Steve Buccellato.

New Mutants #98 – which you can currently read on Marvel Unlimited (like all of the comics mentioned in this section) – has a bonus: it’s also the first appearance of Deadpool!

Then, Domino’s first full appearance took place in X-Force #11 (1992) by Liefeld, Nicieza, Mark Pacella, Dan Panogian, Chris Eliopoulous, and Buccellato.

The 2018 Domino story also includes the character Outlaw in a supporting role. You may recognize her if you’ve read Simone’s run on Deadpool, or from Outlaw’s background cameo appearance during the “audition scene” that introduces Domino in Deadpool 2.

Will We Get Lucky?
According to Beetz, although she would be willing to play the character of Domino again, there are currently no plans for a reappearance.
