More MOON KNIGHT Training Footage Arises
Better work on your blocking, Marvel Blog True Believers, because another new video of Oscar Isaac’s intensive training for the role of Moon Knight has arisen!
Brave New Marketing Strategies
As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic – not to mention the fact that we’ve entered an era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which we are getting new content nearly every single week of the year! – Marvel Studios has had to get more innovative with their marketing.
This was clear through the advertising of Black Widow, which has gone on much longer than the average MCU marketing campaign thanks to the movie’s multiple unexpected delays.
Plus, the upcoming Hawkeye Disney+ series has its own social media juggernaut: the personal Instagram of Jolt the Golden Retriever, the canine actor who will soon be extremely familiar to you thanks to his starring role as Pizza Dog (sometimes known as “Lucky”).
Moon Knight PUNCH!!!
With Moon Knight, the marketing so far has largely taken the form of footage of Isaac’s intense training for the role. These videos have been posted on the Instagram for Mad Gene Media, the New York-based production company that is funded by Isaac and Elvira Lund.
Posted with the Moon Knight allusion hashtag #TheOneYouSeeComing (check it out for yourself, the fight is set to Rage Against the Machine), these training videos are doing the job of getting people seriously excited about the upcoming Disney+ series, which looks to have some of the best fighting choreography yet to be seen on-screen in the MCU.
Everyone is Awaiting Moon Knight
It isn’t just viewers who are getting hyped about the on-screen arrival of Marc Spector!
In an interview in advance of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, when asked which characters they hope to appear alongside in the future, Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan quickly mentioned Isaac as Moon Knight (possibly confirming Isaac will appear in the role in the process).
Are you stoked to see what promises to be the best fighting in the MCU since the first season of Daredevil on Netflix? Let Marvel Blog know what you think in the comment section!
