Kathryn Hahn Joins Cast of KNIVES OUT 2
In the latest casting announcement for the extremely anticipated sequel to Rian Johnson’s 2019 movie Knives Out, it was revealed that our favorite wicked witch of Westview, Kathryn Hahn, will be a part of the upcoming movie’s cast!
A Marvelous Cast
As Marvel Blog True Believers are already assuredly aware, Kathryn Hahn isn’t the only Marvel Cinematic Universe alum who will be joining the whodunnit, which will see Daniel Craig reprising the starring role of Detective Benoit Blanc.
Hahn will also be joining Dave Bautista, who plays Drax in the MCU (at least for now), as part of the Knives Out 2 cast for Netflix.
And the cast will also include Edward Norton, who played the role of Bruce Banner in the 2008 movie The Incredible Hulk (which will soon be more canon in the MCU than ever thanks to the return of Tim Roth as Abomination in the upcoming She-Hulk series on Disney+). While the role of Banner was recast for 2012’s The Avengers (with Mark Ruffalo), you can rent The Incredible Hulk starring Norton through Amazon Video.
Plus, in addition to these MCU stars, the cast of Knives Out 2 will also include Janelle Monáe.
While Monáe isn’t currently cast in the MCU, we think she could really do well in a few particular Marvel roles. Never fear, Marvel Blog True Believers, we’ll be fan casting this musical genius for MCU singing parts soon enough, so stay tuned (and I hope you aren’t too dazzled by my wordplay here… wink wink)!
Knives Out 2 Will Be Streaming on Netflix
As we previously reported here at Marvel Blog, Netflix paid big money to secure the distribution rights for two sequels to Knives Out. While little is currently known about the plot, filming is set to begin soon in Greece, and we’re hoping that the story gives Detective Blanc another chance to ferret out the greedy injustice of rude rich people!
