Marvel Entertainment PROMISES Big News Incoming, True Believers!
Marvel Entertainment is all about playing with our emotions lately (and we’re not sure how we feel about that). In the latest Marvel-PR crafted Tweet from the Hexus-level corporation, they company’s at it again (remember: each tentacle has it’s own personality): on Friday, May 28th, 2021, Marvel Entertainment’s official Twitter account tweeted that a big announcement is coming next week, and we’ll just have to wait until at least Monday to find out what it is…

However, the big news from Marvel Entertainment is probably coming in the form of a new comic book by Donny Cates and Ryan Ottley, and then one by Ram V and Bryan Hitch.
Donny Cates (A.K.A. Pot Stirrer)
Today, the whole controversy started when Marvel Comics writer Donny Cates (Venom, Thor, Cosmic Ghost Rider) said online that, “Man, I’m having so much fun on this new @Marvel book I’m doing, I can’t wait anymore. I know Marvel won’t like this but…I’m just going to go ahead and announce it next week.”

To which, fellow Marvel Comics creator Ryan Ottley (Amazing Spider-Man) responded with, “I doubt Marvel would be MORE mad if you just announced it NOW compared to next week. Just tell them, Donny!”

At which point, Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski got involved, playfully stopping the soft announcement of the newest Marvel Comics book in its tracks.
Whoa, whoa. Guys, slow it down here. Now. We talked about this and the timing already. Hard to walk this back now, but no announcements yet! Please. https://t.co/A1ttDCzpSM

What Book Could It Be?
But which Marvel books need new writers? At Marvel Blog, we have a few guesses, but since this is mostly pot stirring, we are only going to give you a couple of our thoughts for now!
Immortal Hulk by Al Ewing, Joe Bennett, Ruy Jose, Paul Mounts, and Cory Petit, is ending, and may need a new creative team.
And the Black Panther run by Ta-Nehisi Coates, Ryan Bodenheim, and Daniel Acuña just ended too.
Plus, Avengers needs a new writer, especially once the Heroes Reborn ends.
Marvel Entertainment Stirs the Pot (Some More)
Once Cates posted his announcement about working on a new Marvel comic, the men of Marvel came out of the woodwork to soft announce their future projects. So, buckle up buttercup because Marvel Blog has compiled a list of the who’s who of Marvel Comics who joined in on today’s soft launch for the next Marvel Comics event (which will probably be creatively headlined by Cates and Ottley).
Announcements, you say? Next week?! Funny, @Al_Ewing @THEBRYANHITCH and I have something big on the way too… 👀 https://t.co/6pfPS3qGyz

That thing? NOBODY will want to know about that! Who wants a story THAT epic, cool and fun? Grab some popcorn chaps, let's watch the Internet explode…! https://t.co/CmFBgmn2UU

We're announcing our next @Marvel books?
Oh, great! So, I should just go now, right, @CBCebulski? https://t.co/Wg5nLchhfb— Tom Taylor (@TomTaylorMade) May 28, 2021
What books do you hope these marvelous men will be working on for Marvel Comics? Although we like all these writers, we’re crossing our fingers that Tamra Bonvillain or Rachelle Rosenberg will be the colorist on one of these books, or maybe Ariana Maher will get to work on letters!
