In March 2022, a new way to interact with the Marvel Universe is arriving thanks to the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: Playtest Rulebook TPB by Matt Forbeck, with a cover by Iban Coello!

The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: Playtest Rulebook will introduce readers to the all-new D616 System. This new rule system promises to offer a game that’s both easy for newcomers to tabletop games and a natural evolution for players who are more familiar with existing tabletop gaming systems.

During the game, you’ll rely on stats that includes Might, Resilience, Ego, and Logic in order to prevail against any challenge that comes your way. And the article promises that along the way, players will discover their true strengths!
Just the Playtest Rulebook
While the Playtest Rulebook promises to unveil the full scope of the Marvel Multiverse Role Playing Game, we don’t think it’ll be the final volume in the series, Marvel Blog True Believers! If it’s anything like D&D, you can expect subsequent books with expansion campaigns that you can undertake with the characters you’ve been honing with the Playtest Rulebook (along with introducing new characters to add to your roster).

I know I will be checking out this exciting new Playtest Rulebook in spring 2022! And according to Marvel, “fans who pick up and play the Playtest Rulebook will have an opportunity to help shape the game with a chance to offer feedback on the rules before its full release in 2023!”
