Marvel Teams-Up with Hyundai
In a Tweet sent on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021, the official Marvel Entertainment Twitter account released the all-new, all-different Hyundai commercial featuring the stars of WandaVision, Captain America and the Winter Soldier, and Loki! In the commercial, all three of the titular characters from the Disney+ shows appear, including Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Captain America (Anthony Mackie), and the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

The commercial features references to each of the characters’ respective shows, asking questions (to fit with the ad campaign’s catch-phrase, that “question everything”).
Loki, who appears first, makes a joke about being on borrowed time. Then, Captain America shows up to muse on why we say “heads up” when we mean “duck.” And then, Wanda appears in black and white, before making the red Hyundai full-size (and bringing color back to the commercial).
There’s also a longer version of the commercial that features some questions from non-superhero types from other Disney-associated entertainment companies, like ABC and ESPN.
Baby Groot Commercial
The 2021 Hyundai commercial isn’t the only time that the MCU has made a cameo in a car commercial. In fact, in 2018, Baby Groot appeared in a commercial for the Ford Ecosport.
The Baby Groot and Ford team-up even came with an original comic that takes the form of a “What If…?” story. Plus, you can still read the comic right now at this link!
Civil War Commercial
However, Baby Groot and the Hyundai commercials are not the only time that Marvel has teamed-up with a car company for a specially themed commercial!
Back when Captain America: Civil War was released, Marvel and Audi partnered to make an advert that dropped a Audi SQ7 in the middle of one of the movie’s biggest scenes.
