Behold the Secret Invasion Filming Schedule
In a Tweet sent on July 25th, 2021, Murphy’s Multiverse founder Charles Murphy stated that Secret Invasion, the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries on Disney+, will be shooting in Los Angeles, California. It’s set to film from mid-August through December 2021.
I ALWAYS try to convince people not to get too attached to an exact start date of filming because they do change. However, the timeframe will remain the same.

Murphy made sure to note that these were tentative shooting dates, and they may change as filming approaches. Nevertheless, it’s an exciting reminder that Secret Invasion is just around the corner, with the series expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2022!
Secret Invasion
As devoted Marvel Blog True Believers are already aware, Murphy has been tracking the Secret Invasion production for quite a while now. And the commentators posts are usually fairly on point!
In the meantime, the cast has dramatically expanded. Some of the characters we already know as they are returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos the Skrull.

However, a bunch of additional actors have been added to the series, we just don’t know who they will be playing yet! These include Emilia Clarke, who recently entered the comics world herself with M.O.M.: Mother of Madness.
Other actors who are rumored to have joined the cast (but in unknown roles) include Killian Scott, Olivia Colman, and Carmen Ejogo.

But while we may know plenty of the actors who will be appearing the series, we still know very little about the details of the plot!
In the Marvel Comics’ Secret Invasion storyline, many of the Earth’s superheroes are replaced with Skull copies, but considering how we’ve seen Fury working alongside Talos and the rest of the Skrulls in movies like Spider-Man: Far From Home, it seems as though the MCU version of the story may play out somewhat different…
