Rise Up & Listen to Shang-Chi’s DJ Snake Single ‘Run It’
In a video clip uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, August 12th, 2021, we hear the teaser for yet another new song from the soundtrack for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, titled “Run It,” which is performed by DJ Snake and features Rick Ross and Rich Brian.
Marvelous Music to Our Ears
This week has seen the arrival of multiple songs from the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings soundtrack.
On Tuesday, August 10th, 2021, we got our first single from the record label 88rising, with the release of “Lazy Susan,” which also features Brian, along with 21 Savage, Warren, and Higher Brothers’ Masiwei.

And now, the “Rise Up” video clip has brought us “Run It,” another song from the soundtrack.
I grew up inspired by @marvel heroes so it’s been hard to keep this secret🤭 I’m honored to play a part in @marvelstudios ‘Shang-Chi’ history with my song ‘RUN IT’ @rickross @richbrian @simuliu – out tomorrow everywhere‼️ pic.twitter.com/qAuAJR24vD

Between these two tracks, we’re starting to get a sense of what the Shang-Chi soundtrack is going to sound like, and it seems like it’s going to be sounding real good!
Shang-Chi Clips Galore
This is only one of the Shang-Chi clips that has been released lately. On Wednesday, August 11th, 2021, the “Power” clip was released.
Both of these clips emphasize the superhero’s history, including his somewhat dubious relationship with the Ten Rings criminal organization, and highlight the fact that his baggage seems to include antagonists like Abomination (Tim Roth in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk) and Razor Fist (Florian Munteanu).
Are we set for more clips between now and the movie’s September 3rd, 2021 theater release date? We’ve got a pretty strong hunch, Marvel Blog True Believers!
Coming to Theaters Soon
Have you had a chance to watch the latest Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings video clip yet? Which character are you most excited to see when the movie arrives on the big screen on September 3rd (or 45 days after that, when the movie is released for streaming on Disney+)?
