Face-Off: Shang-Chi & Death Dealer at Avengers Campus
We already knew it’s opening day for Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the action-packed film starring Simu Liu as the titular hero, who must confront the past he desperately tried to leave behind. But now, the Disney Parks Blog just announced that Shang-Chi is debuting at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure park in Anaheim, California, as well.
#ShangChi is in theaters today! Check out the new merchandise available on @shopDisney and at @Disneyland and learn about the new characters you may run into at #AvengersCampus: https://t.co/euKJmfavHA pic.twitter.com/NPXUBjGxA2

Meet Shang-Chi & Death Dealer at Avengers Campus
Now that Marvel fans are gearing up to meet the newest superhero on-screen for the first time, they can also plan a trip to meet Shang-Chi in real life (in fact, you can already book your Disney Resort vacation for 2022).
And from the looks of it, once at Avengers Campus, heroes-in-training may have a chance at a friendly sparring session with the master of martial arts himself… and if you still don’t feel comfortable being that close to another sweaty human, at least you can Spider-Ham-it-up for a friendly photo in a strike pose.
At Avengers Campus, fans are dropped right in the middle of the action, surrounded by heroic encounters with some of the Marvel Multiverse‘s greatest superheroes… and the occasional villain.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, “Starting this week, you may run into Shang-Chi himself, hanging out with recruits on campus. And there’s a distinct possibility Shang-Chi could cross paths with Death Dealer, his former mentor and high-ranking master of martial arts in the mysterious Ten Rings organization. These two never underestimate one another, knowing full well the power and skills each other possesses.”
Show Your Shang-Chi Love
While you are making plans to see Shang-Chi on the big screen, in theaters everywhere today, and then to meet him at Avengers Campus, you’ll want to plan your outfit and accessories around what will forever be known as Shang-Chi Day… now and forever in the future (thanks Isha Bassi, I will follow).
it's officially september 3, otherwise known as #ShangChi day now and forever in the future
if you can, watch it, support it, hype it up — it's the first asian-led superhero film in the MCU, but certainly not the last because we're hungry for more representation pic.twitter.com/me3FEGVMv5

The Disney Parks Blog reminded us of the amazing Shang-Chi merch – tees, accessories, and toys – available on shopDisney and at Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure park and Super Hero Headquarters at Disney Springs.
One of our favorite Shang-Chi items available for purchase online and at the parks is the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Stainless Steel Tumbler with Straw emblazoned with the movie’s logo, which you can purchase on shopDisney for $19.99… because hey, even superheroes need to drink water to stay hydrated.
Also, as someone who is perpetually cold (and not just in those over air-conditioned Disney Resort lines), another favorite item is the Shang-Chi Emblem Sweatshirt for Adults on shopDisney for $39.99. By putting on this black pullover sweatshirt with a neon emblem inspired by the film, I know everyone in line for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure will be looking at my awesome duds… not the fact that I’m wearing a sweatshirt in 90 degree weather.
But the Shang-Chi merch isn’t just for adults! Remember that awesome red and black jacket featuring a diamond pattern inspired by Shang-Chi’s armor… well, it’s now available for both adults and kids!
The Shang-Chi Jacket for Kids can now be purchased at Avengers Campus, Super Hero Headquarters, or on the shopDisney website for $42.99.
