SHANG-CHI Cast Faces Rapid-Fire Questions
In a tweet sent on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021, the official Marvel Entertainment Twitter account released a featurette starring the cast of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings!

The fun video clip gave the three leads of the movie, Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Awkwafina (Katy), and Meng’er Zhang (Xialing), the chance to answer some of our burning questions for them before seeing the film in theaters (or on Disney+)!
Questions Time
The inquiries include pop quiz style questions, such as “describe your character in three words,” and “share a secret talent” (and I have to especially admire Awkwafina’s amazing acid-reflux-related abilities, like recognizes like, Nora from Queens).

If you’ve seen Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings already, you’ll see that once again, Marvel Studios has cast actors who bear an uncanny resemblance to their on-screen personas!
What do I mean? Well, Awkwafina, who was the first person cast in the newest MCU hit (we learned this on the Red Carpet, Marvel Blog True Believers), has no problem making unexpected statements that get her plenty of attention (although in the movie, she uses the Eagles – wink wink).

Meanwhile, Zhang (and her character Xialing) have the the skills to pay the bills, and just like her fictional counterpart, Zhang has no problem letting you know that…
And finally, Liu has some amazing physical talents that he is very eager to show-off! However, the physical talents he shows off in the movie (as Shang-Chi) are perhaps a little more impressive than wiggling ears… after all, Shirtless Shang-Chi started as a trained stuntman.

Finally, the featurette includes the question, “What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but are too afraid to try?” I have to call this question out, Marvel Blog True Believers. All three of these actors were in the scene in Shang-Chi that takes place on the bamboo scaffolding on the side of a skyscraper in Macau. I don’t think they could be afraid of anything!
