More Details on DEVIL’S REIGN Emerge
In an article posted to the official Marvel website on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, more details on the upcoming Marvel Comics’ Devil’s Reign crossover event have been revealed!

Written by Chip Zdarsky and illustrated by Marco Checchetto, this crossover event will tie-in to many different titles across the Marvel Comics imprint, making it a “classic-style Marvel Comics crossover event.” It all starts in December, when the first of six Devil’s Reign issues is released!
Devil’s Reign
We got our first hint of the Devil’s Reign event from a short story that was included in the pages of the Free Comic Book Day Spider-Man/Venom issue.

Then, last week, we found out more about the next steps that will be taken by the Marvel Comics universe, including the launch of Devil’s Reign, which will unleash the Kingpin on the larger Marvel Universe.

According to the article on Marvel’s website, Kingpin won’t just be taking Earth-616 by storm, he’ll be doing it with a cadre of the biggest villains in the Marvel Universe. With names like Typhoid Mary, Taskmaster, Rhino, Kraven, and Whiplash being thrown around, it’s clear that Wilson Fisk did not come here to play.
The article also emphasized that this storyline is emerging from Zdarksy and Checchetto’s ongoing work on the Eisner-nominated solo Daredevil title, which makes us think we’re overdue to get into this series, Marvel Blog True Believers!
