SPOILER REPORT: Regarding the Surprise Cameo in Venom 2
Well Marvel Blog True Believers, Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage has been released in theaters (and it’s eating up those box office numbers)! But as you might expect, there’s some spoiler-rific details to discuss. As I’ve mentioned before, I have not been able to see the movie yet due to the fact that I am immunocompromised and theaters are not safe for me during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (but I’m working on finding a nearby drive-in theater, so I can enjoy this personally-anticipated movie in a non-life-threatening way).
SPOILER WARNING: While my marvelous duties do not allow me to avoid spoilers, perhaps you haven’t had a chance to see Venom 2 yet, and you want to preserve the surprise for yourself (I know I would have, Marvel Blog True Believers)! If that’s the case, then please leave this article now.
Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage – SPOILER ALERT
According to an article posted on Movieweb.com on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, the post-credits scene in Venom 2 includes none other than Tom Holland himself as Peter Parker!
In the scene, it seems as though Eddie Brock and his symbiote partner, Venom, have been transported into a parallel universe… and that parallel universe may just be the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
It seems that after explaining to Eddie that symbiotes have knowledge of parallel universes, they are transported to a different hotel room, where they watch J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson reveals that Peter Parker is Spider-Man (in other words, the mid-credits scene from Spider-Man 2: Far From Home).
What does this mean for the rumors that Tom Hardy may be appearing in Spider-Man 3: No Way Home? It means they seem a lot more likely, Marvel Blog True Believers!
