Wolverine: La Larga Noche is the first-ever Spanish-language scripted podcast for Marvel. The series is available through Sirius XM (the same platform that hosted the very successful English-language version of the series).

The Spanish-language version stars Joaquín Cosío, Guillermo García, Brigitte Kali Canales, Iván Bernal, Bruno Bichir, Rafael Sigler, Ricardo Chavez, Marianna Burelli, and Alberto Zeni.

The plot is based on the story written for Wolverine: The Long Night by Benjamin Percy, a Marvel comics writer and novelist whose name you are likely already familiar with.
Over the course of the interview, López revealed many of her thoughts on the podcast, including the fact that Special Agent Sally Pierce, played by Canales, is one of her favorite characters (aside from Wolverine, of course).
Was there any difference in how the finished version of Wolverine: La Larga Noche sounds when compared with Wolverine: The Long Night?
López said that the Spanish-language version sounds “more passionate for sure.” She went on to explain that the first translation she read of the script seemed to have been written by a robot (and not one of the emotionally savvy robots like The Vision, either).
Fortunately, thanks to the fact that she is from Puerto Rico, she speaks Spanish herself, and was able to integrate the different dialects spoken by Spanish-language speakers into the script (with the help of Rome Osorio).
And what was it like to record during the era of COVID-19? López revealed that their Wave Runner Studios producer Jenny Radelet Mast and Production Manager Talia Shea Levin worked hard to arrange a safe situation for their two main characters (the aforementioned Agent Pierce and Tad Marshall) to record in-person in a studio in Los Angeles.

By utilizing multiple booths, the three creators were able to meet in-person (but separated from one by a COVID-thwarting glass window) and record safely during the pandemic.
